It can be difficult making a decision that will permanently impact the design of your home.

Sometimes you just want to change it up a little, but painting a wall can be time consuming and let’s not even get started on choosing colour palettes.

So what if you had the choice to completely change your walls with 3D coverings that not only bring a sculptural surface to your space, but are completely removable and recyclable at the end of their life cycle?

Introducing Wall Flats™ from Inhabit®.

These lightweight dimensional wall tiles work together through an automatic pattern repeat to create large-scale dimensional walls of any size and shape. They work in multiples to create a continuous, uninterrupted sculptural wall.

Th panels are moulded from bamboo, one of the world’s most renewable resources, making them a durable, biodegradable and environmentally-friendly product. They can be installed, trimmed and painted with commonly available products and tools. Scraps are biodegradable and can be recycled with other paper products or composted.

As part of the Inhabit Eco-Initiative, the bamboo is farmed sustainably and there is no deforestation in order to grow it.

Their website states; “At Inhabit, we firmly believe that being in business should mean being a green business, there should no longer be a distinction between the two. We feel old business models are obsolete and operating under a sleeker, less wasteful and more efficient model should be a priority for all businesses.

“As designers we have to accept the challenge that the title now carries this responsibility. So what are we doing today and how do we plan to do better tomorrow? For the past 3 years Inhabit has purchased all power from our local power co-op’s Green Power Initiative which generates clean, carbon and emission-free electricity from wind mill farms located across our state.”

We are thrilled to announce Wall Flats as a key exhibitor at the Build & Renovating Expo from 4-6 July at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
