If you are into interior design – this is one of the most exciting time of the year. As we are all eager to know which Pantone colour will dominate the interior design and decoration in 2017.

And the time has come – last week we came to know ‘Greenery’ has been given the honour to become the Pantone’s colour of the year.

As quoted by Executive director of the Pantone Color Institute Leatrice Eiseman,

“This is the colour of hopefulness, and of our connection to nature. It speaks to what we call the ‘re’ words: regenerate, refresh, revitalise, renew. Every spring we enter a new cycle and new shoots come from the ground. It is something life affirming to look forward to.” Source

So, we’ve collected some ideas on how you can decorate with Pantone 15-0343 aka Greenery.

Velvet sofa inspired by Greenery

This is the ultimate combination of textile and colour trend of the year 2017. However, it’s very important to keep a balance and not going overboard.

Add a splash of Greenery

This cool technic can be applied in any room. Simply choose the right spot and cover it with Greenery paint or wallpaper. If you are renting and have certain limitations for wall painting, then removable wallpaper is the best solution. Removable wallpaper also gives you an option to go back, if you are not satisfied after completing the decoration.

Pop-up colours

This is as simple as throwing a Lime-green cushion into your couch or changing the colour of your industrial pendant lamp in the kitchen.  However, the key is to keep it simple, and do not mix-up multiple colours, as the main objective to pop-up the colour ‘Greenery’.
