Local designers, global trends at the Australian International Furniture Fair 2011

The Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF) and Decoration + Design Sydney have wrapped up for another year, following a record attendance of over 6,600 buyers from Australia and overseas. The co-located events, held 2-4 February at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, saw Australia‟s strongest manufacturers and wholesalers unveil their forthcoming collections, whilst international and local experts forecasted trends for the coming season. Announcing the Australian International Furniture Fair and Decoration + Design Sydney 2011

The AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR and the co-located DECORATION + DESIGN Sydney will return to the Sydney Exhibition Centre from 2-4 February 2011. Featuring the latest furniture and furnishing designs from more than 200 Australian and international exhibitors, the fair will forecast trends, unearth emerging talent and hear insights from international opinion-leaders in design. Emerging designers give green light The Edge - furniture design competition at AIFF 2011

Clover leaves, Thai tradition, Gaudi and Australia's gold fields are among the inspirations for exhibitors in The Edge when it returns to the Australian International Furniture Fair in 2011. Held from 2-4 February, the leading design competition will celebrate its eighth year unearthing emerging furniture designers at Sydney's Exhibition Centre.
