dBodhi beautiful launches

High end furniture brand Meïzaι has announced plans to expand its range. Meïzaι Sales and Marketing Assistant Jessica Ilett confirmed the brand would begin promoting a new collection, named dBodhi, early next year.

"This is a very special collection for us, as it's made from re-cycled timbers from a range of ‘pre-loved' sources such as old railway sleepers. Each piece is unique and designed to show the natural imperfections of the timber, as well as a sense of history."

With the majority of the collection hand made in Indonesia, the dBodhi line was "one of our most exciting ranges," she added. With retail prices starting at $800 through to $1500, the range covered a broad array of applications including lighting, mirrors, planters as well as dining tables and seating.

The dBodhi range is divided into three sub-brands: Lucy (pictured) - characterised by a classic, more curved aesthetic, and Lekk and Trapezium - offering a more contemporary, edgy styling.

A first time exhibitor, Meïzaı will be on show at the Decoration + Design trade fair, co-located with the Australian International Furniture Fair from 3-5 February 2010 at the Sydney Exhibition Centre.
