Leather pieces offer miracle value

24 November 2010

A new player in the Australian market for leather furniture will be showcasing its design driven, value led offer for the first time at Decoration + Design (D+D) in Sydney.

J Vincente International Australia will promote several lines of designer furniture at attainable prices at the fair, as managing director David Wormald confirmed.

"We believe there's definitely a niche in the Australian market for well designed, contemporary furniture that targets the medium to medium-high end of the market, but is priced just a little below most comparable product," he said.

D+D would see the company display a hand picked selection from the much wider offer comprising "a couple of hundred pieces" of its US parent company Leather Miracles, he confirmed.

Offering around 5000 items at any one time, Leather Miracles is the largest tannery in the world for hand rubbed leathers, with over 1000 different items and colours available for residential and contract usage.

Meanwhile on these shores J Vincente International Australia is the exclusive agent for a number of leading global brands including: Hancock and Moore, a manufacturer of classic and contemporary leather upholstery furniture; Council - specialising in high quality residential and contract case good manufacturing; Jessica Charles - "a beautifully designed, high quality upholstery line that can also produce private label goods for a number of manufacturers and retailers internationally"; Cabot Wrenn - a high quality line specifically designed for contract and hospitality use; Randall Allen - a classic line of leather furniture manufactured to high standards in northern China; Elite Leather - a high quality line of residential contemporary leather furniture designed and developed in California; Elite Specifiers - the company's contract division, which manufactures to clients' specifications, and has completed large projects worldwide; Bradington Young - line of residential classic and contemporary seating, manufactured in Shanghai; and Flexsteel, an American icon in leather furniture for the home including reclining and non- reclining seating.

J Vincente International Australia will showcase its range at Decoration + Design from 2-4 February 2011 at Sydney Exhibition Centre.
