Sydney outdoor specialist Garden Life will be targeting new markets when it makes its debut at Decoration + Design (D+D) next February.
Specialising in high end local and internationally sourced products ranging from garden sculpture to urns, planters and contemporary water features, the company's point of difference lay in its differentiated product range, said Garden Life principal Richard Unsworth.
"We specialise in supplying our clients with unique pieces for the outdoors, whether it be antique pots from Turkey or locally made outsize contemporary planters, water features, screens and outdoor artwork."
"We are keen to build and cement our relationships with the interior design industry, enabling us to work together to help furnish clients' outdoor spaces. We have a garden design service and can be a one-stop business for all things outdoor, from landscape concept plans for a renovation or new build, or supplying just that one essential item that finishes a garden."
Decoration + Design would see the company showcasing a new range of planters and containers, outdoor furniture and outdoor artwork, he said.
"We will however have our portfolio handy to show some of our latest garden creations and have a chat with visitors."
D+D was a key part of the company's marketing strategy, Unsworth confirmed.
"I'd like more people in the design industry to be aware of the different range of services that we can offer at Garden Life. Our café will also be open by then so we can tempt people to come and see us in the store."
Co-located with the Australian International Furniture Fair, Decoration + Design will take place at Sydney Exhibition Centre from 2-4 February 2011.
