B Seated revamps offer

Commercial furnishings company B Seated has re-positioned itself to cater to a discerning, design led customer base. Marketing manager Daniella Menachemson said the move would see the brand's range expanded and a new website launched.

"We've had a complete re-design of our product mix, with the emphasis being much more the idea of furniture ‘hot off the press' from Milan and other design centres," she said. "We want to be more like the Vogue of the furniture world."

While the company would continue to provide cost effective product, the addition of higher end, design focused furniture - equating to a 40 per cent increase in the company's range size - was designed to enhance its overall offer.

The company had also revamped its website - to re-launch on November 3 - to feature "virtual showroom" capabilities.

"We've been listening to our customers, many of whom are architects and designers working to tight deadlines and want to be able to ‘touch and feel' the product online."

B Seated's overhaul also included a drive to source sustainable product, as well as implementing sustainable measures such as black backgrounds on the new website interface to reduce energy usage. An Australian owned company with an international network of representatives B Seated Global supplies to the party, event rental and restaurant industries as well as design professionals. The company will showcase its newly revamped offer at the Australian International Furniture Fair from 3-5 February 2010 at the Sydney Exhibition Centre.
